Terms and Conditions

Surface Repair Solutions uses skills and our best intentions to closely match our repairs (within limitations) to the items shape,colours,texture and sheen level.It is recognized and accepted by the client that the items was damaged before our intervention and that no responsibility or liability therefore is accepted or inferred by Surface Repair Solutions to replace damaged items with new where a repair is either not successful or acceptable to the client.

We cannot guarantee an invisible repair. All repairs are colour matched on site and we can usually get a good match when the item is viewed from 1 metre or more away,however lighting conditions and the age of the item may affect how good the colour match is, this is unavoidable, especially with fixed items.

The repair may be visible especially if viewed close up, under certain light conditions or at certain angles. Newly repaired items may have a slightly different lustre as they will be new, whereas older surfaces may have a slightly different depth of sheen.

As acrylic plastic baths or shower trays are produced in a mould the surface is completely flat when viewed close up,under bright lights or at certain angles it is impossible to re-create this flat surface after a repair as the paint sits on the surface of the bath or shower tray and does not fade into the acrylic plastic.

Surface Repair Solutions have a guarantee of ONE YEAR (on domestic repairs) and cover flaking, peeling and general failure of adhesion to the surface, subject to the following conditions:

1.No abrasive/caustic or bleach-based cleaners are to be used on the surface,a damp cloth with detergent is best, the only cleaning products we recommend are CIF foam mousse, Bar Keepers Friend, or ECover.

2.Physical damage such as chips and scratches or mistreatment is not covered.

3. Staining caused by chemicals or dyes is specifically excluded.

4. Heat exceeding 350 degrees or direct flame (No steam cleaning at any time)

5. Problems caused by excess moisture, structural conditions or movement of the fixtures below the repaired surface (flooring, wall, fixtures nearby the repair area)

Surface Repair Solutions reserves the right not to take on any repairs if the condition of the surface may become worse during any repairs,also not all surfaces can be repaired with our materials or techniques this will be advised to the customer at the time of enquiry or site visit.

We require the repaired area around to be clear of children, adults and pets along with removable items. Please ensure adequate ventilation during and after the repair

Please do not touch the repaired area for 24 hours and refrain from cleaning the repaired area for 3 days,this is to ensure materials can harden and dry fully.

Please do not clean the repaired area with solvents or industrial chemicals as these can remove the repair materials.

Payment Terms

Surface Repair Solutions require payment to be made in full on the day of the repair unless otherwise stated (domestic clients only) this can be made by cash or BACS transfer,if the payment is not made interest may be charged on payments owed.

For commercial clients the payment due date will be available on the invoice, and interest may be charged on late or non-payment of services.
